Martial Law

GMA doesn’t do anything, they get mad. She finally acts, they bitch. Ah, hell. Some Filipinos are natural whiners.

I, personally, agree with the implementation of martial law in Maguindanao. US intelligence confirmed that 50-100 armed men (not part of the army) were being deployed in different municipalities in the province. This, along with the brewing talks and threats of unrest between the supporters of the rival clans, is enough reason to take preventive measures. Let’s face it, there is a loss of law enforcement in Maguindanao. From politicians to police men to judges and the like, no one was saved from the clutches of corruption – they take sides (and by sides, I’m referring to the Ampatuans). The military needs to step in – it has to. Not only to prevent more bloodshed, but to create an atmosphere of authority and command in an area which severely lacks it.

With that said.. JUSTICE FOR THE VICTIMS OF THE AMPATUAN MASSACRE!!!
